Why Robotics?
This course has been introduced in response to a breakthrough in the area of robotics as well as broad vistas in their adoption in industry. Robotics is involved in almost every facet of modern life. Applications of robotics are in many industries like automobile, communications, aviation, space etc. Embedded software with robotics is getting more complex and versatile with the drive to create smaller devices supporting enhanced functionalities.
Robotics has emerged as one of the most important areas of growth in the job market. The students are trained in theory along with sound practicals equipping them well to face the industry requirements. A balance is maintained throughout the course in the treatment of both software and hardware topics.
In the first two semesters the students are extensively trained in the area of Robotics basics and later on advance topics with RTOS, Device Drivers, designing with various popular microcontrollers and other important areas.
